Welcome to DirectMed Imaging!

DirectMed was founded in 2012, with a goal to provide quality CT and MRI parts, supporting all major OEM’s to our customers. Since 2012, DirectMed has been on a journey to expand and improve its offerings. Teaming up with other companies that share our vision, culture, and values has allowed for new opportunities and possibilities for innovation and service expansion. With over 175 employees in the USA and Europe, we are committed to becoming the most trusted resource in aftermarket diagnostic imaging equipment, training, and support.

2012

DirectMed Parts and Service was founded.

November 2019

Acquired Medical Systems Technologies, boosting internal repair capabilities with over 300 different repair procedures for high failure, high voltage products.

June 2021

Partnered with NMS Capital to provide greater financial resources to expand product service and offerings.

February 2022

Acquired LBN Medical, the largest medical imaging systems provider in Europe, located in Aalborg, Denmark.

April 2022

Began investment of over $10m into inventory. Added mobile imaging fixed site platforms to strengthen parts testing capabilities.

September 2022

Acquired ScanMed, located in Omaha, Nebraska, expanding coil repair capabilities as well as expanding engineering throughput.

September 2023

Acquired Technical Prospects in Appleton, Wisconsin, expanding Siemens inventory and adding training capabilities, and expert technical support engineers.

November 2023

Name change to DirectMed Imaging and full rebranding strategy implemented.

March 2024

Acquired Titanium Medical in Houston Texas, expanding Toshiba/Canon inventory and adding field service capabilities for Toshiba/Canon.

About Technical Prospects

(Now DirectMed Imaging)
Technical Prospects was founded in 1997 by Robert Probst, a former Siemens engineer. Using a spare 10×10 bedroom in his house, After selling CT parts for 5 years, he expanded his offerings. Jeremy Probst, his son and current President of the Appleton facility, worked with Bob to reposition Technical Prospects and set it apart from the competition. In 2009, the company moved into a 60,000 square foot state-of-the-art building. In 2013, an additional 12,000 square feet was added for a training facility, to expand services into Training and Support. In September 2023, Technical Prospects joined forces with DirectMed Parts and Services. Together, we offer quality parts, training, and support under our new name, DirectMed Imaging.

About Titanium Medical

(Now DirectMed Imaging)
After working on Toshiba Diagnostic Imaging equipment for 14 years, Michael Feezor felt it was the perfect time to stretch the entrepreneurial legs in 2010. Not long after they started servicing the equipment, they realized having all the parts available would improve the average repair time in service.

Titanium Medical Imaging focused on the Toshiba brand and carved a deep niche in Toshiba MRI, CT and Vascular systems. Soon after opening the doors in 2010, they started to hire motivated team members and trained them to be a dynamic service team. Our engineers traveled all around the country tackling tough calls and growing the Titanium Medical reputation.

The warehouse grew several times to hold the large inventory of Toshiba, now Canon, line of medical imaging parts. The success of Titanium Medical Imaging was directly related to the great family of employees that made miracles happen and the tough jobs enjoyable. We continue to provide excellent service and parts to our Toshiba/Canon customers only now, under our new name, DirectMed Imaging.
